Spring Andersen has been a student, practitioner, and teacher of shamanism for 19 years.
As a student she studied the shamanic journey from highly respected teachers of varied backgrounds and cultures, connecting to its deep historical roots and learning the importance of ritual. She has profound gratitude for these wisdom keepers.
I am dedicated to the well-being of the inhabitants of this earth. I believe that we are all deeply connected. The shamanic journey is a technique used historically by indigenous peoples throughout the earth and continues to be used today.
When I journey I obtain information through the spirit realm for the purposes of healing, protection, clarity, and vitality. I am devoted to the light that has the potential to shine brightly in all of us. I believe as humans we all have shadow aspects that interrupt the positive flow of our life force.
I work with the spirits to find liberation from these shadow aspects. My purpose is to connect to people--my human family--with the spirit realm in the name of healing, love, and light.
Spring is committed to keeping the practice of shamanism alive and to preserving its practices in their intended integrity. As a teacher she works diligently to ensure this. She takes care to introduce shamanism in its historical context as well as its potential for the here and now. Drawing on the power of community she clearly describes each step of the journey before encouraging her students to experience it themselves.
She does so in an atmosphere of ease and acceptance. She does so with love--of her teachers, her clients, her students, her spirit helpers and the tradition of shamanism itself.
